CONTINUING EDUCATION
All affiliate brokers, and brokers license after
January/1/2005 must complete 16 hours of approved
continuing education every 2 years to renew their license.
The 4 hour TREC CORE COURSE
is required as part of the 16 hours. The remaining 12
hours are approved elective courses. These may be taken in
class, by correspondence or on line.
CAREER INSTITUTE HOME/OFFICE
STUDY Correspondence courses are a convenient
way to meet the 16 hour continuing education requirement.

BROKER LICENSE APPLICANTS
All applicants for the Broker License must have:
Certification
of 120 hours of education, including
30 hours in Broker Office Management
which cannot be used as continuing education credit to
maintain your Affiliate Broker License.
Broker Applicants must be Licensed 3
years or
Licensed 2 years if licensed PRIOR to May, 1988
POST LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
120 additional hours of approved continuing education must
be completed within 3 years of the date of issuance of the
broker license plus 16 hours of Continuing Education every
2 years thereafter.
