Client Advocacy In the New Marketplace


This course will allow the agent to define advocate, advise, and negotiate. Explain why negotiating skills are important to your success. Accurately respond to diagnostic test questions concerning negotiating skills, and list all the negotiating opportunities in a real estate transaction.

You will identify the needs of clients through their motivations. Identify social styles of people, their strengths and weaknesses. Explain how to style-flex when appropriate to do so, and identify negotiating styles of people.

Students will compare and contrast distributive and

integrative negotiations; List and identify subjective tendencies in negotiations. And explain how to combat subjective tendencies.


You will also learn the three stages in the negotiation process, define and explain best alternative, reservation price, and target. Students will be able to explain the importance of information in the negotiation process, and put all the information together to efficiently and effectively advocate for the client
